Soroa
The small village of Soroa is 90 km from Havana, in the Sierra del Rosario, declared a Biosphere Reserve. It will take you ~ 1 hour drive to reach this little paradise. The cool and humid climate favored the development of lush vegetation. The region is home to many endemic species, including the famous Tocororo, the national bird of Cuba.
Group taxis, which leave from Havana for Viñales do not stop at Soroa, so you will have to take a private taxi to make a stopover. For our excursions, we work with professional taxis, do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
